BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Spring Hill College baseball team started its Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) series with in-state foe Miles off with a 13-4 win at Rickwood Field on Saturday.

The game was tied at 2-2 going into the fifth inning with both teams going back-and-forth to keep it level.
Norris McClure broke the tie with a RBI single up the middle, scoring
Luke Sweeney. The Badgers held the lead for the rest of the game and defeated the Golden Bears 13-4 to open the three-game conference series.
Bryson Kirk led the game with three RBIs, three hits and one run in five at bats.
Logan Clark took the win on the mound for SHC, while Kaleb Hellard took the loss for Miles.
