MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College women's golf team placed fourth out of eight teams in the Ram Spring Invite at the Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course on Tuesday.
The Badgers shot a two-round team score of 646 (323-323) over the 5,807-yard, par-72 course and were 52 strokes back from William Carey, who took home the win while shooting 594 (297-297). The Crusader's Nichakorn Prapsripoom (70-74—144) earned medalist honors at the event.
Freshman
Evie Graves led SHC with her 14
th-place finish (83-76—159) followed by
Natalia Michas, who tied for 15
th (75-86—161).
Olivia Leinart (83-82) and Mary McDaniel (82-83) both carded a 165 overall score to tie for 19
th.
The Badger individuals,
Natalie Williamson (80-87—167) and
Michelle Lorio (87-81—168), tied for 21
st and 23
rd, respectively. Freshman
Molly Kirkman tied for 30
th after recording a 170 (88-82).
Spring Hill's next tournament on the schedule is the Bulldog Bash, hosted by Union, in Athens, Ala., on March 27-28.
