HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Spring Hill College beach volleyball team fell to Southeastern Louisiana (3-2) and Southern Miss (4-1) at the Southern Miss Beach Volleyball Complex on Saturday.
 
The Sandy Badgers opened their season with a 3-2 loss to the Southeastern Louisiana Lions. SHC walked away with wins on court Nos. 4 and 5 in that match.
 
The Southern Miss Golden Eagles defended their turf, delivering a 4-1 loss to Spring Hill. The Badgers showed life on court No. 3 with a win by Linnea Beger and Kyla Shappell.
