Spring Hill suffers loss to Cougars

MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College baseball fell in the final contest of a three-game series 7-1 to No. 4 Columbus State at Sims-Galle Field on Monday.
 
The Badgers fell behind early and were unable to overcome the 7-0 deficit by the ninth inning when they scored a run on a fielder's choice RBI single from Parker Doyle. The nationally-ranked Cougars won 7-1 and swept the three-game series.
