Badgers sweep Tigers to open SIAC Tournament run

JONESBORO, Ga. – The Spring Hill College volleyball team swept Benedict (25-15, 25-9, 25-19) in the opening round of the 2023 Cricket SIAC Women's Volleyball Tournament at the Tsunami Center on Thursday.
 
The Badgers hit .184 while holding the Tigers to -.051. SHC led Benedict in every notable statistic during the tournament match.
 
Reigning SIAC Offensive Player of the Week Airyonna Weaver led the match with 10 kills. Haile Hallmon led with four service aces and Jessica Fairly led with 19 assists. On the defensive side, Hayley Hillman led the match with five blocks and Mikayla Boyer led with 12 digs.
