COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Spring Hill College men's basketball team fell in a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) game to Benedict, 82-66, at HRC Arena on Monday night.

The Badgers trailed the Tigers at halftime 46-36 despite going 7-8 from the free throw line and outperforming them at the three-point arc (45%). Benedict held on for the remainder of the game and defeated Spring Hill 82-66.

Beril Kabamba led the game in scoring with 21 points followed by teammate
Tana Kopa with 20. Benedict was led by Asanti Price, who recorded 17 points on the court.

"This was a disappointing loss for us. Benedict came out firing and we got into a hole and weren't able to climb out of it. We cut it [Benedict's lead] to three at one point but never got into a good rhythm. We will regroup for Wednesday against Allen."
