LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Spring Hill College volleyball and beach volleyball teams received the USMC-American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award, the AVCA announced Monday.
 
Both squads received the award for the fifth-straight year in a row. This marks the seventh time that the court volleyball team has been selected for the award.
 
More than 1,200 collegiate and high school volleyball programs were named recipients of the award this year. The award honors volleyball teams that maintain a grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale over the course of the academic year.
