TAMPA, Fla. – The Spring Hill College volleyball team will meet Tampa for the first time ever in the NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Championship South Regional at the Bob Martinez Athletics Center on Friday.
 
The opening round match, scheduled for Friday at 7:30 p.m. (EST), will mark the first ever meeting between the Badgers and Spartans. Spring Hill comes into the tournament on a 25-match winning streak that goes back to September 17 and includes its fourth consecutive Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) title. Tampa is on a four-match winning streak that goes back to Nov. 5 and includes its 28^th Sunshine State Conference (SSC) championship. The Badgers are seeking their first NCAA postseason victory against the Spartans, who are the reigning national champions.
