Walker prepped at Wallace-Rose Hill in Teachey, N.C. He completed his undergraduate education between Brunswick Community College and Davidson College in North Carolina. 

Walker joined the Spring Hill Badgers in 2021 in his pursuit for a Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. 

During his graduate season with the Badgers, Walker maintained a .327 batting average with 35 hits including 5 doubles, 2 triples, and 8 home runs. As a first baseman, he kept a .995 fielding percentage with 181 putouts, 13 assists, and only 1 error.
