AJ prepped at Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, Colorado. He graduated from Spring Hill College in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Economics. He is currently working towards a Master's degree in Business Administration. 

AJ pitched 136 innings over five seasons with 105 strikeouts, earning 9 wins and 3 saves for the Badgers. He fielded his position with a .857 fielding percentage with 8 putouts and 16 assists. 

AJ is a three-time member of the SIAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll, and was named to the SIAC All-Tournament team in 2019. He currently holds three athletic letters with Spring Hill.
