Cabeza prepped at Belen Jesuit Preparatory School in Miami, Florida. He is working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.

After four seasons with the Badgers, Cabeza totaled 43 strikeouts in 50 innings and as a pitcher, owns five of the Badgers' wins. During his senior season, Cabeza pitched an average of one strikeout per inning and maintained an impressively low 1.88 season earned run average.

Cabeza currently holds three athletic letters at the completion of three athletic seasons.
