Badger Baseball swept at Albany State
ALBANY, Ga. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) baseball team lost both ends of non-conference doubleheader at the Albany State University (ASU) Golden Rams (7-2) on Saturday afternoon at Golden Rams Field.
 
The Rams used a 3-run 3rd inning and a 2-run homer in the 5th inning to take the opener 6-4 and scored 4 in the 4th inning of Game 2 to sweep the series with a 5-3 decision.
 
In the first game, center fielder Joseph Guidry had two hits including a double while first baseman Walker Imwalle blasted a 3-run dinger in the top of the 9th frame. Geo Camfield fell to 0-2 on the young season with 4.1 innings, 5 hits allowed, 4 walks and 7 strikeouts.
 
Guidry picked up two more hits in the nightcap as Conner Ingram fell to 1-1 in 3.2 innings with 1 hit, 3 walks and 1 strikeout.
 
The Badgers (3-4) will travel to Pensacola, Fla. on Tuesday to face the University of West Florida (UWF) Argonauts (10-4) at 5 p.m. on Jim Spooner Field.
