MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) and the University of Montevallo (UM) baseball teams suffered a rain out after just two innings of play on Tuesday at Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium.
 
The UM Falcons (9-12) held a 4-0 lead at the end of the 2^nd inning, but heavy rains forced the tarp to come out before the start of the 3^rd frame, making the field conditions unplayable.
 
The Badgers (4-9) will next visit Jackson, Tenn. for a doubleheader with the Lane College Dragons (6-9) on Saturday beginning at noon at The Ballpark at Jackson.
