ROCK HILL, S.C. (November 15, 2021) – The West Division's top-seeded Spring Hill College (SHC) volleyball team opened play at the 2021 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Championship Tournament with a 3-0 (25-9; 25-8; 25-10) sweep of the East Division's 4
th-seeded Savannah State University (SSU) Tigers at the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center on Monday afternoon.
SHC held the Tigers (10-14 SIAC) to a -.165 (12-25-79) hitting percentage with just 12 assists, one ace, 18 digs and two (0-4) blocks in the match.
On the other side of the net, the Badgers built a .473 (42-7-74) attack percentage with 37 assists, five aces, 31 digs, and five (2-6) blocks.

Kassandra Fairly led the Badgers with eight kills and a .500 (8-2-12) attack percentage while setter
Jessica Fairly handed out 22 assists and three aces. Libero
Taylor Fontenelle collected two digs and nine receptions with an ace and four assists.
The Badgers (27-5) will next face rivals the Kentucky State University (KSU) Thorobreds (18-10) on Tuesday at 10 a.m. central.
