Allison Receives National Jesuit Player of the Week Honor
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Justin Allison's performance last week has caught national attention. The freshman guard from Pelham, Alabama was named the National Jesuit Player of the Week on Feb. 6 by the Jesuit Basketball Spotlight. 

Allison averaged 22.5 points and nine rebounds during three games Jan. 28-Feb. 3. The highlight of the week was a career-high 35-point performance, accompanied by eight rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal, to lead Spring Hill College to a 97-79 victory over Central State University in the NCAA Division II Showcase on ESPN3. The performance also earned Allison his first Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week honor on Feb. 5. 

Jesuit Basketball Spotlight is a program developed in 2008 by the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities to bring awareness to Jesuit education and basketball teams from the nation's Jesuit colleges and universities.
