Badgers Drop Midweek Game to UWF

MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College baseball team dropped a non-conference game with the University of West Florida, 6-2, on Wednesday.

Brennan Fontenot had two RBI; he earned a bases loaded walk in the 5th inning and then singled to center in the home half of the 7th to drive in Grayson Williams. 

John Sklopan and Joseph Guidry both registered two hits in the contest.

Taylor Gibson (0-1) went 3.2 innings in the loss while striking out four.

The Badgers (2-6) are at home this weekend for a three game series with Florida Tech. Play begins on Saturday with a doubleheader starting at noon.
