MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) women's basketball non-conference contest at the University of Mobile Lady Rams originally scheduled for 5:30 p.m. tonight at H. Austill Pharr Gymnasium has been postponed by the schools in deference to the passing of Rams Athletic Director and long-time head baseball coach Mike Jacobs.
 
The Rams (5-1) and Badgers have rescheduled the game for Wednesday, February 12, 2020 with a 5:30 p.m. tip off time.

SHC Director of Athletics Joe Niland announced the postponing of the game on Wednesday morning with a heavy heart. "Out of great respect for our crosstown rival at this time, it is the right move not to play tonight as we honor and remember Coach Mike Jacobs - our rival, but more importantly, our friend."
 
The Badgers (2-6) will travel to Pensacola on Saturday to face the University of West Florida (UWF) Argonauts (2-4) in a non-conference game at 2 p.m. in the UWF Field House. SHC earned a 72-56 victory over the Lady Argos in Mobile earlier this season, but UWF holds a 13-2 edge in the overall series since the 2000-01 season.
