No. 22 Greyhounds race past Badgers, 112-66

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) men's basketball team was handed a 112-66 non-conference road loss by the 22nd-ranked University of Indianapolis (UIndy) Greyhounds on Tuesday night at Nicoson Hall
 
UIndy (7-0) held a healthy 56-31 lead at halftime and never looked back in the second period, building out as much as a 36-point lead at 87-51 with 7:31 remaining in the game.
 
Five Badgers reached double-digits in scoring led by senior guard Gresyn Rogers of Casa Grande, Ariz., with 16 points while senior forward Chase Shellman of Louisville, Ky. hauled in 9 rebounds with 10 points. SHC shot 40.3% (25-62) from the field and 28.6% (6-21) from 3-point range. The Badgers suffered 20 turnovers against 11 steals by the Greyhounds and were out-rebounded 38-28 under the boards. At the free throw line, SHC made 66.7% (10-15) of their foul shots.
 
Trevor Lakes of UIndy had 21 points to lead three Greyhounds who met or surpassed the 20-point barrier as the home team shot 62.5% (40-64) from the floor and 51.9% (14-27) from 3-point distance while losing 13 turnovers to 10 Badger steals. The Greyhounds also finished the night at 69.2% (18-26) from the free throw line.
 
The Badgers (1-5) continue their holiday road swing on Wednesday afternoon in Louisville, Ky. at the 3rd-ranked Bellarmine University Knights (4-0) in Knights Hall at 3 p.m. (eastern)
