MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) men's soccer team took a 4-1 Gulf South Conference (GSC) loss to the Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) Warhawks at Library Field on Friday afternoon.
Phillip Spickenbaum of the Warhawks (5-3, 2-0 GSC) opened the scoring in the 21
st minute of play after cleaning up his own rebounded shot. Just a minute and two seconds later, AUM would go up 2-0 when Renan Diniz accepted a perfectly played entry pass into the keeper's box by Thomas Carlile.
In the 54
th minute, Andrew Elkins headed in a third AUM goal off a corner kick by Arnaud Baron. Elias Hanna then assisted Diniz's second goal of the afternoon in the 86
th minute with an entry pass into the box.
The Badgers avoided the shut out in the 88

Barou Ndaw (2-1) of Mobile, Ala., made one save against 12 shots and four corner kicks by the Warhawks. Across the pitch, Alexander Kraus of AUM collected four saves versus 22 shots and seven corner attempts by the Badgers.
The Badgers (2-5, 0-3 GSC) will next host conference foe the University of Montevallo Falcons (3-3-1, 1-0 GSC) at Library Field on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
