MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College Badgers dominated Loyola University (La.), 3-0, Wednesday evening.
Spring Hill improves to 27-3 on the year while Loyola falls to 4-11.
The Badgers dominated from the get-go, picking up a decisive 25-10 win in the opening frame. Spring Hill held off the Wolfpack in the second set of the match, eventually picking up the 25-21 win to take a 2-0 advantage in the match.
The home-standing Badgers dominated the third set, picking up a 25-14 to win the set and the match.
Spring Hill's
Kassandra Fairly led both teams with 12 kills in the match, while
Allison Weimer and
Taylor Hurst added nine each for the Badgers.
Emmarose Neibert led the Badgers with 47 assists in the contest.
Maddie Huekels led Loyola with six kills.
Spring Hill (27-3, 16-0 SIAC) returns to the court for its final regular season contest on Friday, Nov. 2 against Tuskegee University, as they look to complete their run through the SIAC. The home match is set to begin at 6 p.m. and will feature Senior Night activities.
