Volleyball finishes SIAC West Cluster with two more wins
WILBERFORCE, Ohio – The Spring Hill College (SHC) volleyball team closed out the final day of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) West Division Cluster hosted by Central State University (CSU) at Beacom/Lewis Gym on Saturday morning with victories over Lane and Miles colleges.
 
SHC began the day with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-7, 25-9) sweep of the Lane College Lady Dragons (4-11, 4-5 SIAC West) as sophomore setter Hannah Fromdahl distributed 12 assists as the Badgers built a .386 (36-9-70) attack percentage with seven aces and four total blocks (eight assisted) while holding Lane to a .014 (22-21-74) attack percentage with one ace and three blocks (one solo, four assisted).
 
Spring Hill closed the two-day event with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-7) victory over the Golden Bears (4-12, 2-8 SIAC West) of Miles College wherein the Badgers built a .289 (35-11-83) attack percentage with Emmarose Neibert handing out 13 assists and libero Cassidi Sterrett corralling nine digs and an ace.
 
The Badgers (15-2, 11-0 SIAC West) next visit the Tuskegee University Golden Tigers (3-15, 2-5 SIAC West) at the Daniel 'Chappie' James Center on Tuesday at 6 p.m. for a conference contest.
