"We are learning to battle and play for each other as family," said SHC head coach
Allison Whitworth following the game. "When we can achieve that mentality, the pieces will fall into place. Every player did something well on the field and every one of us will keep fighting to be our best on the field. We tried to shift a little to score a goal late and it gave up too much space for our opponents to counter us. We will all keep learning. I'm proud of this group and what we are becoming."
The Badgers (0-2) will host the Lee University Lady Flames (1-0) on Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Library Field.
