Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 JACKSON, Tenn. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) baseball team opened a three-game Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) series at the Lane College Dragons with a double header sweep by the scores of 13-2 and 13-1 on Saturday afternoon.
 
Starter Sean Bretz improved to 4-1 on the season with the victory in the opener as Luke Yelverton added two innings of relief. Senior center fielder Ulysses Fluellen had a pair of home runs while Hunter Romero collected his second round-tripper of the year
 
In the night cap, Dylan Kiene (4-1) earned the complete-game victory of the year for Spring Hill and Fluellen continued to provide the power with his fifth and sixth homers of the year to make four on the day. Third baseman Brandon Harigel also joined the fun with his fifth dinger of 2017.
 
The Badgers (18-15, 8-0 SIAC) will close out this series with the Dragons (1-20, 0-8 SIAC) on Sunday at 1 p.m.
