Sophomore Danielle Clark (17-7) earned the complete-game victory in the opener by scattering four hits with two walks and two strike outs while designated player Aly Fowler collected two hits with two RBI and right fielder Katelyn Wilson added two hits and an RBI of her own.

The Badgers used a methodical approach on offense scoring a pair of runs in the 2nd inning and adding single runs in the 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th inning to expand the lead successfully at each opportunity.

UM starter Karley Sanders (6-3) took the loss in 4.1 innings with five hits, four walks and two strike outs. Shortstop Kaitlyn Wood had two hits for the Lady Rams.

Freshman Baylie Doiron (4-1) accepted her first collegiate loss in a complete-game effort as the Badgers dropped Game 2 in a 3-0 verdict. Doiron allowed six hits with two walks and two strike outs, but surrendered all three runs in the 2nd inning before settling in and allowing no more than four Lady Rams to bat in any of her next four innings.
