Box Score 2 The Spring Hill College (SHC) softball team took a 6-1 non-conference victory over arch-rivals the University of Mobile (UM) Lady Rams on Tuesday, but suffered a 3-0 shutout in the night cap.

Sophomore
Danielle Clark (17-7) earned the complete-game victory in the opener by scattering four hits with two walks and two strike outs while designated player
Aly Fowler collected two hits with two RBI and right fielder
Katelyn Wilson added two hits and an RBI of her own.

The Badgers used a methodical approach on offense scoring a pair of runs in the 2
nd inning and adding single runs in the 3
rd, 5
th, 6
th and 7
th inning to expand the lead successfully at each opportunity.

UM starter Karley Sanders (6-3) took the loss in 4.1 innings with five hits, four walks and two strike outs. Shortstop Kaitlyn Wood had two hits for the Lady Rams.

Freshman
Baylie Doiron (4-1) accepted her first collegiate loss in a complete-game effort as the Badgers dropped Game 2 in a 3-0 verdict. Doiron allowed six hits with two walks and two strike outs, but surrendered all three runs in the 2
nd inning before settling in and allowing no more than four Lady Rams to bat in any of her next four innings.

Wilson slapped a pair of hits for the Badgers while center fielder Tyler Winkler had two hits with a double and an RBI for the Lady Rams. Hope Cain improved to 7-2 on the season for UM with seven hits, a walk and two strike outs.

The Badgers (26-12; 13-0 SIAC) will next host the Miles College Golden Bears (4-20, 3-2 SIAC) in a three-game Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) series this weekend beginning with a single game on Friday at 4 p.m. on Murray Field.
