BATON ROUGE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) beach volleyball team finished play at the Tiger Beach Challenge hosted by LSU at Mango's Beach Volleyball Club on Sunday with a hard-fought 3-2 loss to Florida Gulf Coast University and a 3-2 fall to Houston Baptist University.

"We wrapped up a grueling weekend losing both matches 3-2 today, but we were a couple plays always from turning the team wins in our favor," said SHC head coach Shawn Taylor. "Unfortunately, we came up on the short end. We are looking forward to our first matches on campus this week and getting back to playing in front of our fans."
 
The Badgers (4-10) will host Principia College and the University of North Florida (UNF) at the Jim & Betty Walsh Beach Volleyball Facility on Wednesday beginning with Principia at 12:30 p.m. followed by UNF at 3 and 5:30 p.m.
