"We came out a little flat this morning at the 4, 5, and 6 spots," said SHC head coach Shawn Taylor. "We talked a lot about being aggressive and defining what that means in practice this week. We struggled with that mentality, but credit a lot of that to the play of FIU. At the 1, 2, and 3 spots we did a much better job at coming out and attacking early. While we weren't able to score many points, we still put ourselves in a good position."

"Seuzeneau and Vujnovich have settled into a good rhythm and are starting to play some great volleyball," said Taylor. "We were just a little inconsistent across the board and still a bit reluctant to be aggressive and live with the consequences. We're hanging in and competing and when we start making aggressive plays every point I think we can position ourselves to win a couple of these matches."

The Badgers (4-8) will continue play at the Tiger Beach Challenge at Mango's Beach Volleyball Club on Sunday beginning with Florida Gulf Coast University at 8 a.m.
