MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) women's soccer team took a 4-1 non-conference home loss to the Florida Southern College (FSC) Moccasins at Library Field on Monday afternoon.
The Moccasins (5-1-1) hit pay dirt when Anna Griessler accepted a give-and-go pass from Madi Colaw and finished from the top of the box in the 6
th minute of play.

Gabrielle Burmaster found the far post from the right side after sophomore
Sydney DeJohn connected with a diagonally placed pass through the FSC defensive line.
FSC took the lead in the 19
th minute after Alex Moberley beat a Badger defender in a foot race and finished inside the far post off an assist from Griessler that traveled up the middle of the field. Moberley added her second goal of the contest in the 50
th minute off an assist from Tatum Albecht while Leah Borders closed the day with a tally in the 84
th minute with help from Kylie Harris.

HP Fluharty (0-5) took the loss for the Badgers with one save against 11 shots and five corner kicks by the Moccasins while Paige Koetter earned her first win of the year with one save versus nine shots and one corner attempt by Spring Hill.
The Badgers (1-9, 0-6 GSC) will next host Gulf South Conference (GSC) foe the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) Chargers (3-7, 2-6 GSC) on Friday at 3:30 p.m. on Library Field.
