Box Score The Spring Hill College (SHC) women's soccer team took a 10-1 Gulf South Conference (GSC) home loss to the University of North Alabama (UNA) Lions at Library Field on Wednesday afternoon.
The Lions (4-5, 3-2 GSC) held a 4-0 lead at halftime and added six more scores in the second period as Kylie Huey scored six goals with an assist and Eleanor Costello put two goals in the net as did Shelby Wall who also connected for two assists.

Lillian DeSousa put the Badgers on the board with 26 seconds remaining in the game via a header goal off a crossing entry pass by
Kaelin Dull.

Kayla Beaston (0-7-2) made six saves in 69 minutes while
Hannah Shankman played in goal the final 21 minutes with one save. All told the Badgers allowed 33 shots and six corner kicks by the Lions while UNA keeper Savannah Stewart (4-5) made three saves versus eight shots and two corner attempts by Spring Hill.
The Badgers (0-7-2, 0-4-1 GSC) will take the week off before returning to the road for a GSC match at the 6th-ranked Lee University Lady Flames (5-1-1, 2-0 GSC) in Cleveland, Tenn., on Friday, October 7, at 7 p.m. (EST) on Lee Soccer Field.
