Box Score CLINTON, Miss. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) men's soccer team accepted a second consecutive 2-1 Gulf South Conference (GSC) overtime road loss on Sunday with this downturn coming to the Mississippi College (MC) Choctaws at Arrow Field.
The Choctaws (5-1-1, 3-0 GSC) struck first in the 36th minute as Jacob Farthing scored his fourth goal of the season off an assist by Dinho Zwane, but the Badgers answered right back less than two minutes later when sophomore
Tilman Schober scored his second goal of the year unassisted.
Horacio Gutierrez, Jr. ended the game in the third minute of overtime with an unassisted golden goal.

Will Carpenter (1-6-1) made four saves against 17 shots and four corner kicks by the Choctaws while Humberto Pelaez of MC collected two saves versus six shots and three corner attempts by Spring Hill.
The Badgers (1-6-1, 1-3 GSC) will next host the Choctaws in a non-conference re-match on Wednesday, October 5, at 3:30 pm. on Library Field.
