Box Score ALBANY, Ga. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) volleyball team completed its six-match sweep of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Divisional Crossover Tournament hosted by Albany State University (ASU) on Saturday with a 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-16) win over the Benedict College Tigers.
Spring Hill built a .232 (42-16-112) attack percentage against the Tigers (2-4, 0-1 SIAC) with four aces, seven (4-6) blocked shots and 58 digs.
Individually, freshman setter
Emmarose Neibert recorded 18 assists while sophomore
Randi De'Armitt knocked down 12 kills. Freshman
Brittany Bilotti served out three aces with 13 digs and fellow freshman
Cassidi Sterrett lassoed 15 digs. Sophomore
Emily Greim stopped two solo blocks and a block assist.
SHC has now won 28 consecutive SIAC matches and 46 consecutive sets in conference play.
The Badgers (15-3, 11-0 SIAC West) will host their first home match of the 2016 season versus Jesuit rival the Loyola University (La.) Wolf Pack (9-12) on Wednesday at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center beginning at 6 p.m.
