Badger Baseball brooms KSU Thorobreds, 9-6
Box Score FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) baseball team completed a three-game Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) road sweep of the Kentucky State University (KSU) Thorobreds by earning a 9-6 victory on Sunday afternoon.

Badger outfielders Michael Druhan and Conner Harrison each cranked out home runs against the Thorobreds (8-18, 6-6 SIAC) as SHC starter Christian Bahlinger (4-2) earned his fourth win of the year and Hunter Roig picked up his first save of season on the mound.

Druhan was 2-for-4 with two RBI while Harrison's three-run shot in the 1st inning gave him three consecutive games with a home run. Ulysses Fluellen enjoyed a 4-for-5 day with an RBI and catcher Alex Jones went 3-for-4 with a run-driven-in. Bahlinger lasted seven innings and allowed just five hits with two walks and four strike outs as Roig closed the game in two innings of work with three hits, a walk and two strike outs.

The Badgers (19-13, 10-2 SIAC) will next travel to Florence, Ala., on Tuesday for a non-conference doubleheader at Mike D. Lane Field versus the University of North Alabama (UNA) Lions (15-16) beginning at 2 p.m.
