Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) baseball team took both ends of a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) doubleheader over the Tuskegee University Golden Tigers by the scores of 13-0 and 8-0 on Saturday afternoon at Paterson Field.

In the opening game, starter Wesley Parrish (7-3) went the distance for his second shutout and fifth complete game of the year. The senior right-hander scattered six hits with two walks and six strike outs.

First baseman Michael Druhan blasted his 10th home run of the year while right fielder Ulysses Fluellen connected for his fifth round-tripper and second baseman Thomas Smith found the range on his second dinger of the season. Fluellen finished the day with two hits and five RBI while Smith had two hits with three RBI. Other top performers for SHC included designated hitter William Floros with two safeties and third baseman Matthew Spradlin with two hits and two RBI.

The nightcap saw starter Dylan Kiene move to 7-2 on the year with his first shutout and fourth complete game of the year. The junior right-hander dished out six strike outs with one walk and allowed just one hit in the 3rd inning.

Shortstop Maverick Latour had two hits with a double and an RBI while Druhan mashed another homer to raise his team-leading total to 11 long-balls on the season. Catcher Alex Jones had two hits, two runs scored and two RBI.

The Golden Tigers (9-23; 5-9 SIAC) were paced at the plate by Ryan Green with two hits in the opener while Trey Nelson fell to 3-3 on the year in 6.2 innings of work with 11 hits, four walks and three strike outs. Jordyn Thomas (2-2) took the loss in the second game in 5.1 innings with seven hits, six walks and four strike outs.
 
The Badgers (25-14; 15-2 SIAC) will close out this three-game series at Tuskegee on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Paterson Field.
