Sagrera strikes out 15 in 2-1 victory over CMU
Box Score The Spring Hill College (SHC) softball team won a 2-1 non-conference decision over Central Methodist University (9-8) at the University of Mobile Softball Field on Tuesday afternoon.

Badger starter Caroline Sagrera (8-7) struck out 15 batters in the victory as SHC socred first in the top of the 3rd inning when shortstop Carmen Byrd dropped down a bunt single to score left fielder Taylor Lahasky from 3rd base. Later in the 4th inning, Savannah Folse singled to center field to plate Madeline Burchell, making it a 2-0 Badger advantage.

Sagrera allowed just one hit with three walks and a hit batter while Erin Enke (3-3) of CMU took the complete-game loss with seven hits, two walks and six strike outs.

Spring Hill (13-10) will next host Barry University (Fla.) in a non-conference doubleheader at Murray Field on Wednesday beginning at 1 p.m.
