Wesley Parrish set a new Badger record for strike outs in a seven inning game by registering 14 Ks as the Spring Hill College (SHC) baseball team completed a three-game Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) series sweep with a 14-1 victory over the Lane College Dragons at historic Stan Galle Field on Sunday afternoon.
Parrish (3-2) went six complete innings and allowed just three hits and three walks in the win.
Hunter Nowak closed the game by striking out the side in the 7th inning, giving the Badgers 17 total strike outs.

Thomas Smith added two hits with a double and three RBI to the SHC totals.
Robert Love (0-3) took the loss for the Dragons (1-13, 0-3 SIAC) in four innings with 12 hits allowed, three walks and no strike outs while Robert Akines finished the final two innings with three hits, three walks and two strike outs. Shortstop Reko Flowers had two hits for the visitors from Jackson, Tenn., including a solo home run to left in the 3rd inning.
The Badgers (10-8, 3-0 SIAC) will travel to Pensacola on Wednesday to face the University of West Florida Argonauts (11-7) at 6 p.m. on Jim Spooner Field.
