Box Score 2 MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) baseball team swept a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) doubleheader away from the Stillman College Tigers by the scores of 7-1 and 14-1 on Sunday afternoon at historic Stan Galle Field.

Wesley Parrish (4-2) earned the complete-game victory over the Tigers (2-18, 0-2 SIAC) in the opener with seven hits allowed, two walks and six strike outs as Spring Hill benefited from five Stillman errors. Josh Freeman of Stillman fell to 1-3 on the year in six innings of work with nine hits, three walks and three strike outs.

In the nightcap, freshman designated hitter
Nicholas Chiasson ripped his first career home run in the 4th inning with a solo shot out of left to expand a 2-1 Badger advantage to 3-0. Later, SHC would tally six runs in the 5th inning and five runs in the 6th frame to salt away the contest.
Dylan Kiene (3-2) of SHC picked up a complete-game victory by scattering nine hits with no walks and eight strike outs. Zach Gonzalez (0-6) was saddled with the loss in 4.1 innings with six hits, five walks and seven strike outs.
On the day at the plate, Jones, Fluellen and Druhan each had four hits as Jones added three RBI, Druhan collected four RBI and Fluellen plated six RBI with two doubles and triple. Chiasson had two hits and three RBI while third baseman
Matthew Spradlin slapped three hits and scored five runs.
For Stillman, right fielder Josh McDaniel had three hits and an RBI, left fielder Hank Parker added three hits and center fielder Nick Vitale also had three safeties on the afternoon.
The Badgers (12-9, 5-0 SIAC) close out this three-game series versus Stillman on Monday with a single game at 2 p.m. on historic Stan Galle Field.
