Box Score The Spring Hill College (SHC) baseball team lost a 5-0 non-conference home decision to the Mississippi College (MC) Choctaws on Tuesday afternoon at historic Stan Galle Field.

The Choctaws (7-7) opened the game with a one-out solo home run to left field in the top of the 1st inning and never looked back as Jake Fraze (3-1) went 7.2 innings in the win and scattered five hits with three walks and three strikeouts versus Badger batters.

Wesley Parrish (2-2) was saddled with the loss in five innings with seven hits, three walks and three strike outs against the Choctaw lineup.

Badger first baseman William Floros went 3-for-4 at the plate while Will Elliot, Blaine Crim and Hunter Hall each collected two hits for MC with Elliot and Crim both slapping a double for the visitors from Clinton.

The Badgers (7-7) will be back at home on historic Stan Galle Field on Wednesday at 4 p.m. versus the University of West Alabama Tigers (11-4) in a con-conference contest.
