Baseball falls late to West Florida, 3-2
Box Score The Spring Hill College (SHC) baseball team suffered a 3-2 non-conference home loss to the University of West Florida Argonauts on Wednesday afternoon at historic Stan Galle Field.

The Argos (6-5) scored two unearned runs with two outs in the top of the 8th inning off an infield fielding error by the Badgers and a bases-loaded walk with two outs.

Wesley Parrish (2-1) took the loss in relief of Dylan Kiene who went 6.1 innings with just two hits allowed, a walk and three strike outs. Jarrod Petree (2-0) earned the win in relief of Brandon Nagem who lasted five full innings with four hits, three walks and seven strike outs. Steven McClellan picked up his second save of the year in one inning with two hits and two strike outs.

Badger first baseman William Floros had two hits and an RBI while right fielder Michael Druhan also added two safeties for the SHC offense. UWF designated hitter Colby Brown had a double and an RBI for the visitors from Pensacola.

The Badgers (7-6) will be back at home on historic Stan Galle Field on Tuesday at 4 p.m. versus the Mississippi College Choctaws (6-4) in a con-conference contest.
