Box Score MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) men's soccer team snapped a four-game winless streak versus the Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) Warhawks with a 3-1 victory at the AUM Soccer Complex on Wednesday evening.

Ibrahima Ndaw accepted a long crossing pass from freshman
Donte Oliver and blasted a score past the keeper into the net for his team-leading fifth goal of the year.
SHC expanded the lead to 2-0 in the 34
th minute as sophomore
Jordan Simon tallied his first goal of the year by cleaning up a loose ball that escaped the goalkeeper with a tap in for the score.
AUM battled back for a goal in the 77
th minute as Michael Hettler drove home a penalty kick to cut the Badger advantage down to 2-1, but SHC quickly rebuilt a two-goal advantage when
Viktor Kvarnlof finished into the right side of the goal just inside the post following a long crossing assist by
Andres Alfonso in the 86
th minute.
Badger senior goalkeeper
Will Carpenter (2-8-1) faced 13 shots and eight corners, but collected four saves for the win while Jacob Bergengren (1-5) of AUM made three saves against 11 shots and five attempts from the angles by Spring Hill.
The victory was the first over AUM by the Badgers since a 3-1 home win in 2010 while also breaking a five-game losing streak by Spring Hill this season.
The Badgers (2-8-1, 1-4 GSC) will visit Pensacola, Fla., on Sunday to take on conference rivals the University of West Florida (UWF) Argonauts (4-5-1, 3-1-1 GSC) at 3 p.m. at the UWF Soccer Field.
