Box Score The Spring Hill College (SHC) men's basketball team lost a 55-47 non-conference game to the University of Mobile Rams at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on Monday night.
The Rams (14-7) took a 23-18 lead into halftime and built as much as a 16-point lead at 43-27 with 7½ minutes left in the contest. A pair of 3-point buckets by senior guard

Matevz Rojc in the final 38 seconds whittled the Ram lead down to six points at 53-47 with 10 seconds to play, but two free throws by D.J. Hill of Mobile sealed the game with 6 seconds on the clock.
Pietri paced the Badgers with nine points while sophomore forward
Walter Massey hauled in a game-high 11 rebounds. SHC shot 31.6% (18-57) from the field including 23.5% (4-17) from 3-point distance. The Badgers completed just 50% (7-14) of their free throw opportunities.
The Badgers controlled the boards by a 45-32 margin in rebounding, but lost 12 turnovers to six Mobile steals as the Rams outscored SHC 18-8 in points off turnovers.
Hill scored 11 points for Mobile while Will Hornsby and Daouda Soumaoro each had 10 points. The Rams completed 38.6% (17-44) of their shots and 26.7% (4-15) from 3-point range while knocking down 65.4% (17-26) of their free throw attempts. Mobile lost 10 turnovers to just two steals by the Badgers.
The Badgers (5-13, 4-6 SIAC West) will next host the Lane College Dragons (11-9, 7-3 SIAC West) in a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) West Division matchup at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
