Box Score CLINTON, Miss. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) men's soccer team won a 1-0 non-conference decision over the Choctaws of Mississippi College at Robert P. Longabaugh Field on Sunday afternoon.
At halftime the two teams were knotted in a scoreless deadlock as the defenses limited the Badgers to six shots and the Choctaws to just four shots with just one shot on-goal each.

Tilman Schober finally broke the scoring ice for Spring Hill in the 66th minute with his second goal of the year with an assist from fellow freshman
Haavard Oeyna.
Badger junior goalkeeper
Will Carpenter (2-3) faced nine shots and eight corner kicks with three successful saves while Humberto Pelaez of MC made one save against eight shots and three corners by Spring Hill.
The Choctaws (0-5) and the Badgers will meet again this season in a Gulf South Conference (GSC) match in Mobile on October 23 at Library Field.
The Badgers (2-3) next travel to face the 13th-ranked Buccaneers (6-0) of Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tenn., on Friday at 7 p.m. in a GSC contest at Signaigo Field.
