Box Score MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) women's soccer team reached a 0-0 non-conference road tie for the second consecutive outing on Friday night. This time the Badgers deadlocked at the University of Montevallo (UM) Lady Falcons at Varsity Field.
At halftime and after 90 minutes of regulation play, the Lady Falcons (0-2-2) and the Badgers were deadlocked to 0-0 and the score would remain that way throughout the two 10-minute overtime periods.
Senior goalkeeper Maggie Dalesssio earned her second shutout of the season with 7 saves against 14 shots and 2 corners while her Falcon counterparts Ellie Mouyal and Katie Pearson made 3 saves versus 8 shots and 3 corner kicks.
The Badgers (0-1-2) wrap up their current four-game season-opening road trip with a visit to Carrollton, Ga., to face the University of West Georgia (UWG) Wolves (1-2) for the first Gulf South Conference (GSC) match of the season on Sunday at 12 p.m. at the UWG Athletic Complex. Last year, the Badgers and the Wolves fought to a 1-1 two-overtime draw in Mobile.
