Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) baseball team swept a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) doubleheader at Stillman College by the scores of 6-3 and 7-6 on Sunday afternoon at Tiger Baseball Field.

Badger senior pitcher Jackson Howard (2) earned the afternoon's two saves as SHC held off rallies by the Tigers (11-19, 10-5 SIAC) in both games.

In the first game, Howard pitched the final three outs in relief of starter Wesley Parrish (6-3) who lasted six innings with nine hits allowed, a walk and four strikeouts. In Game Two, Howard coaxed a double play grounder to shortstop to end the game with the tying run at 3rd base to secure the win for Stephen Douglas (6-1) who went five innings, giving up seven hits and a walk with three strikeouts.

SHC junior catcher led the Badger offense with four hits including two doubles and five RBIs. Senior designated hitter had three hits with a run driven-in while third baseman Matthew Spradlin, left fielder Kyle Freeman, right fielder Taylor Eads and shortstop Thomas Smith each had a pair of hits on the day.

The Badgers (26-11, 16-0 SIAC) will close out the 2015 home schedule on Tuesday with a non-conference doubleheader versus Jesuit rival the Loyola University (La.) Wolf Pack (22-23) beginning at 3 p.m. on historic Stan Galle Field.
