Badgers fall to Tigers 2-1 in OT
Box Score  The Spring Hill College (SHC) men's soccer team suffered a 2-1 Gulf South Conference (GSC) overtime road loss versus the University of West Alabama (UWA) Tigers on Friday night at Tiger Stadium.

Spring Hill struck first when redshirt freshman Viktor Kvarnlof of Norrtalje, Sweden, scored his first goal of the season in the 32nd minute.

The Tigers (6-5-2, 5-1-1 GSC) answered back in the 42nd minute with an unassisted goal by Christian Adkins and won the game in the 95th minute when Zach Traweek found the back of the net with the game-winner.

"I am very proud of the effort, commitment and desire to win tonight," SHC head coach Steve Wieczorek said following the game. "We will get there. Tonight we didn't, but we know in our hearts that our time will come."

Junior SHC goalkeeper Will Carpenter made 10 saves against 17 shots and seven corners by the Tigers while UWA keeper Brad Louis made one save versus six shots and four corners by the Badgers.

The Badgers (2-9, 0-5 GSC) will next travel to Huntsville on Sunday to face Gulf South Conference (GSC) foe the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) Chargers (7-4, 5-1 GSC) at Charger Park beginning at 3:30 p.m.
