Badgers fall at Lady Argos, 4-0
Box Score PENSACOLA, Fla. –The Spring Hill College women's soccer team came up on the short end of a 4-0 decision to the University of West Florida (UWF) Lady Argos in a Gulf Coast Conference (GSC) contest at the UWF Soccer Complex on Saturday evening.

In Spring Hill's first GSC match in program history, the Lady Argos (2-2, 1-0 GSC) took a 1-0 lead in the 1st half when Hugrun Elvarsdottir scored off an assist from Shanice Monteith in the 13th minute of play.

UWF then made it 2-0 with a goal by Taylor Burkhart via another pass from Monteith in the 59th minute. The match was salted away by two quick unassisted Lady Argo goals in the 70th and 75th minutes as April Syme and Emily Vogler both converted on attempts.

SHC was outshot 23-1 by West Florida as Emily Grammer made one save for the Lady Argos and Maggie Dalessio made 10 saves for SHC. West Florida had 15 corner kicks and SHC was only allowed one attempt from the angles.

Spring Hill (2-2, 0-1 GSC) will next host the Christian Brothers University (CBU) Lady Buccaneers (4-0, 0-0 GSC) in a conference match on Friday at 2 p.m. at Library Field.
