SHC men suffer second 1-0 loss of season at Southern Wesleyan
Box Score CENTRAL, S.C. – The Spring Hill College men's soccer team took a 1-0 non-conference loss at the Southern Wesleyan University Warriors on Friday night at Childs Field for their second consecutive 1-0 downturn in the young season.

SWU (3-1) benefited from a goal by Ivan Malagon that was a low crossing shot from the left hand side off assists by Joao Oliveira and Noel Fischer in the 11th minute of play.

The Warriors outshot the Badgers 11-3 as senior SHC goalkeeper Patrick Danner of Tampa, Fla, and SWU keeper Ruben Rodriguez made three saves each. The Warriors had two corner kicks and the Badger attempted just one kick from the corners.

Spring Hill (0-2) next visits the University of North Georgia Nighthawks (1-2) for a non-conference match on Saturday at 4 p.m. in Dahlonega, Ga., at the UNG Soccer Complex.
