Steven Galsgow (2-0) was the winner for the Tigers in six innings with six hits allowed, no walks and two strikeouts.
On offense, Spring Hill centerfielder Taylor Eads was 3-for-4 with a double while Tiger third baseman Mitch Holgate tallied the first cycle in UWA history with a triple, single, two-run homer and a double into the corner in right in his final at bat of the day.
Spring Hill (26-21, 14-10 SSAC) will host the 17th-ranked Southern Polytechnic State University Hornets (33-14, 15-8 SSAC) in a conference game on Friday at 6 p.m. at Stan Galle Field.
