Box Score CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Spring Hill College women's soccer team lost to the Lady Flames of Lee University by the score of 4-0 in a Gulf South Conference (GSC) soccer contest at Lee Soccer Field on Sunday afternoon.
Lee (5-4-1, 4-1 GSC) took a 1-0 lead in the 7th minute off a successful left to right shot into the top right corner by Nicole Blanchard from the top of the box for her 5th goal of the season.
Later, the Lady Flames scored again with a tally by Kinsey Cichowitz with shot from close right that curled inside the far left post in the 52nd minute. The Lee advantage grew to 3-0 in the 67th minute when Meagan Newman headed in a goal from three yards out off an entry pass by Cichowitz from the right side.
Blanchard then made it 4-0 with a shot from the top of box in the 76th minute via an assist by Katie Cloud.

Abby Massengale (2-2) from New Orleans, La., took the loss in-goal while junior
Maggie Dalessio of Jacksonville, Fla., played the second half. Each keeper faced 10 shots with Massengale making three saves and Dalessio recording four saves. Lee's starter Erin Olson earned the victory with one save versus four shots by SHC as Marbel Egwuenumade started the second half and made a save against three Badger shots.
Lee attempted 10 corner kicks and SHC had three chances at the corners.
Spring Hill (3-6, 1-5 GSC) will next host the Wolves of the University of West Georgia (1-9-1, 1-4 GSC) in a conference tilt at Library Field on Thursday in a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.
