Box Score CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Spring Hill College men's soccer team fell to the Lee University Flames 3-0 in a Gulf South Conference (GSC) outcome at Lee Soccer Field on Sunday afternoon.
The Flames (6-2-2, 1-0-1 GSC) took a 1-0 lead in the 21st minute when Garrison Adams converted on a penalty kick following a Spring Hill foul in the keeper's box. A goal by Quade Marinell off a give-and go assist by David Perez then put Lee up 2-0 in the 63rd minute.
Lee tacked on a third goal in the 88th minute when Travis Kiger knocked in a loose ball following a blocked shot from the foot of Marinell.

Patrick Danner of Tampa, Fla., took the loss in goal for Spring Hill with two saves against six Lee shots and was relieved in the 42nd minute of play by junior
Jacob Files who made two saves versus eight shots by the Flames. Tom Halsall picked up the win for Lee while facing 11 shots with three saves.
Lee would end the day taking three corner kicks while SHC took two kicks from the sides.
Spring Hill (2-7, 1-3 GSC) will host non-conference opponent the Grizzlies of Georgia Gwinnett College (6-2-1) at Library Field on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
