Box Score CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Spring Hill College men's soccer team lost to the Delta State University Statesmen 1-0 in a Gulf South Conference (GSC) verdict on Sunday afternoon at Delta Field.

After a scoreless first half, the Statesmen (7-9, 4-5 GSC) broke on top in the 65th minute when Jaxon Lambert found the back of the net with an assist by Bryce Childers

Junior Badger goalkeeper Jacob Files (1-4) of Clinton, Miss., made four saves against eight shots and five corners by the Statesmen while Jonathan Hilton (4-5) of DSU made three saves versus 12 shots and four corner attempts by Spring Hill.

Spring Hill (3-10, 2-6 GSC) will wrap up their conference schedule on Friday night at the University of West Florida Argonauts (5-7-2, 3-3-1 GSC) at 7:30 p.m. in Pensacola, Fla.
